About the position

Critical parts of a successful SaaS company are reliable, efficient and secure server operations and networks. As an engineer, you will be a part of the company's team which ensures that our customers and employees receive great experience from the IT infrastructure now and in the future. Working on our multi-site hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure you will have a shifting workday consisting of many types of tasks.

The team is responsible for the companies IT infrastructure resources 24/7. Resources include workstations, firewalls, switches, web application firewalls, servers, public cloud and software solutions. The focus is on monitoring the function of the resources, supporting, maintaining and extending as the company and computation needs grows.

The work is primarily done from our pleasant office at Johanneberg, Gothenburg but visits to server in other parts of Gothenburg occur. The position is full-time with possibility for extra on-call duties.

About you

Ongoing is looking for an engineer who is interested in the operation of IT hardware and software. We are a company with a strong focus on close collaboration between our engineers and customers and are therefore looking for a flexible and communicative person. We think that you can understand, analyze and maintain our infrastructure but also the capacity to learn how to automate to help us grow. We also think you are a responsible and orderly person. To enjoy working in our team you should be open-minded and without prestige.

Qualifications

Full professional working proficiency in English and a Nordic language is required. Bachelor's and master's degree holders are eligible. You should have knowledge of operating systems, networks and IT security. We invite both newly graduates and experienced professionals to apply.

• Microsoft Windows Server (or another operating system)
• Internet Information Services (IIS) (or another web server)
• Microsoft SQL Server (or other database software)
• Azure (or other public cloud provider)
