Shape the future of Ongoing's IT platform as our next Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer in the IT Operations & Security team.
You will work broadly across cloud, infrastructure, operations, and security, combining hands-on responsibility with opportunities to influence technical decisions and improvements. Your work will span Microsoft Azure, Intune, and Microsoft 365 as well as networking, security, and the wider IT environment that powers Ongoing.
You will take ownership of business-critical systems and services, combining strategic improvements with hands-on technical work to keep them secure, reliable, and effective.

About the position
The IT Operations & Security team is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of both our internal IT environment and the infrastructure supporting Ongoing's Software-as-a-Service. This is an office-first position based at Ongoing's office in Gothenburg, where close day-to-day collaboration with the team and the wider business is an important part of the role.
As a Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer, you will:
Help manage our cloud environment.
Participate in infrastructure projects and operational improvements.
Collaborate closely with colleagues across the organization.
Although the role has a strong focus on Microsoft cloud technologies, we expect all team members to contribute broadly across the team's responsibilities and support each other when needed.
In this role, you will
Cloud & Workplace Management
Support Azure resources, services, and automation initiatives.
Administer and develop Microsoft 365 services.
Administer and improve endpoint management through Microsoft Intune.
Improve security, governance, and operational efficiency across the Microsoft platform.
Infrastructure & Operations
Maintain and improve internal IT systems and services.
Troubleshoot incidents and technical issues.
Contribute to monitoring, maintenance, and operational improvements.
Participate in infrastructure projects and technology initiatives.
Document systems, processes, and technical solutions.
Security
Support the organization's information security initiatives.
Participate in incident response and security investigations.
Help maintain a secure and resilient IT environment.
Contribute to continuous improvement of security processes and controls.
Who we are looking for
We're looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and experience in several of the following areas:
Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Azure
IT operations, infrastructure, and systems administration
Windows administration and troubleshooting
Security, identity, and access management
Technical problem-solving and incident management
You may have gained your expertise through higher education, professional certifications, hands-on experience, or a combination of these. We value practical experience and demonstrated capability as much as formal qualifications.
You should also be:
Comfortable taking ownership and working independently
A collaborative team player who enjoys knowledge sharing
Willing to participate in the team's on-call rotation
Motivated to continuously learn and develop new technical skills
Proficient in English and Swedish
Work alongside experienced colleagues and gain insight into how modern SaaS platforms integrate with customers' business-critical systems.

Network architecture, firewalls, VPNs, routing, and network security
Infrastructure as Code and modern automation practices
Monitoring and observability platforms
Experience working in SaaS or highly available production environments
Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS2, or similar standards
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, or a related field
