About the position
As Senior UX Designer, you will own and elevate the user experience across Ongoing's software suite as we evolve into an AI-ready SaaS platform. You will be responsible for turning complex operational data, backend logic, and predictive AI capabilities into clean, performant, and low-cognitive-load software interfaces.
You will work across the full design lifecycle—from user discovery and workflow mapping to UI wireframing, high-fidelity prototyping, and design system governance. You will collaborate closely with software developers and product management to ensure our software remains the easiest to use in the industry.
A major part of the role will be helping Ongoing execute its next-generation software vision:
Designing intuitive software interfaces for an AI-ready SaaS WMS.
Translating predictive insights, and automated suggestions into actionable UI components.
Simplifying complex B2B workflows across desktop, web, and mobile browser interfaces.
Minimizing friction and cognitive fatigue for power users handling high-volume order processing and data analysis.
Building and maintaining a modern, scalable SaaS design.
In this role, you will
Lead end-to-end UX/UI design for new SaaS features, workflows, and platform capabilities.
Conduct user research, workflow observation, and usability testing with real warehouse software users and internal stakeholders.
Produce user flows, wireframes, interactive Figma prototypes, and developer-ready UI specifications.
Establish human-in-the-loop UX patterns for AI interactions—ensuring software recommendations are clear, trustworthy, and actionable.
Own and evolve our component-based design system to ensure visual consistency and fast frontend development.
Partner directly with software development teams to validate technical feasibility and ensure high design implementation quality.
Work with Head of Product to align design solutions with business objectives and real operational constraints.

Work side by side with experienced colleagues to understand complex user journeys and transform them into simple, effective solutions.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a designer who combines systems-level software thinking with strong UI craft skills.
You enjoy taking complex, data-heavy enterprise workflows and crafting software interfaces that feel crisp, logical, and rewarding to use. You are comfortable working alongside software engineers, asking deep questions about system logic, and iterating based on technical constraints and user feedback.
You do not need to know everything about warehousing on day one, but you should be genuinely interested in learning complex business operations and solving usability challenges for mission-critical SaaS platforms.
Required qualifications
5+ years of experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer, or UI/UX Designer working on enterprise B2B SaaS or complex web applications.
Proven track record of designing data-dense, web interfaces with high usability standards.
Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
Experience creating, maintaining, or contributing to scalable UI design systems.
Strong ability to break down complex business rules and data models into clean, structured user interfaces.
A strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design methodology, visual polish, and software problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong merits
Experience designing UX for AI-assisted tools, predictive dashboards, or automated software workflows.
Experience with B2B operational platforms, supply chain, logistics, ERP, WMS, or financial software.
Practical understanding of web technologies (HTML/CSS, frontend component frameworks) and how software components function in production.
Experience conducting qualitative user research and turning insights into validated UI solutions.
Communication skills in Swedish or another Scandinavian language.
